We often cross train our team members in our other departments including coffee bar, cheese, charcuterie, bread, nonperishables, produce and prepared foods. What You'll Do:
  • Speak and interact with both new and regular customers
  • Exceed customer service expectations 
  • Complete sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers' purchases, and accepting cash or credit card payments from customers
  • Carefully bag customer orders as needed
  • Resolve customer issues and answer questions
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work station
  • Follow health and safety guidelines
  • Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
  • Contribute to a positive team environment
General Requirements:
  • One year of cashier experience preferred, but we love to train those passionate about coffee & customer service
  • Availability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business
  • Open weekend availability is required for this position
  • Ability to process information/merchandise through computer system and POS register system
  • Can multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation
  • Can move, carry or handle merchandise throughout the store
